Can you buy just a bit of fish there, or is it all bulk? My neighbor buys fish in Mayport (I thought it was at Singleton's, but I'm not positive), but he buys in bulk.

Best seafood store is Safe Harbor at Mayport near the ferry. They have a large selection and a small lunch area in side. They are closed on Sundays and also bring your cooler. They will put ice on your fish also.

Singleton's is a restaurant and I do not think they sell to the public. Safe Harbor you do not have to buy in bulk. Across the street is the wholesale storage who sells in bulk and they ship out also.

Seafood
As for places to eat Ramada Inn in Mandarin has a great Seafood Buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. Ask for Addie. She is great! You can go to the Comedy Zone while you are there too.

Despending on where you live, you can also try The Fisherman's Dock. They have a store on 17 in Orange Park, and also in Mandarin on San Jose Blvd. But I do agree with some other posters about Publix. I've always had very fresh fish from them, and they always carry fresh Mayport shrimp.
In the spring some of the Publix also carry fresh Royal Red shrimp, but that's worthy of it's own thread.
