I am planning a small (100 people) wedding and want to have in the Jax Beach area. Budget is an issue but I would still like a nice clean place for both to take place in the same location or very close to each other. Any suggestions? The wedding will be in April '08.

My wife and I got married on the beach down on South Ponte Vedra beach back in May of 2004. We utilized Karen from Beach Wedding Co Home It was great, nice and layed back and exactly what we were looking for. We had a reception right after at the Reef Restaurant at the same location, only problem is that they only hold approx 50 people in their upstairs area, so too small for you. Since Karen does these types of weddings all the time, I bet she can suggest several locations for both a reception and wedding. Hope that helps!

Cheap but still ok? try the Balis Community Center in San Marco. I've seen a couple of wedding receptions there and it looked nice.
