I have the option of moving into Esplanade now or waiting for 5 thousand town (may 2013). Does anyone have an opinion on either? Its hard to know much about 5 thousand town because they dont have a website but the construction looks solid. Thank you for any help!

5000 Town looks like it backs right up to J.T. Butler Blvd plus it won't be ready for almost 7 months. I'd go for the Esplanade, which is further away from the noisy JTB. If you have the desire to live in the middle of a shopping center.

Good point! I am not only looking at town center but I just moved from DC and I am used to walking EVERYWHERE (grocery store, restaurants, shops) the idea of getting in a car to go pick up a few things is crazy to me. Town center is the only place I have seen that has everything in walking distance except a nice gym. I also work on southside about 3 miles away. So its not that I am looking to be close shopping I just don't like spending all my time sitting in a car.

The Esplanade will be much closer to the Publix Food Store at the Town Center!
