I'm just now finding this site again after joined years ago when I lived in Hawaii.

Just looking for some Palm Coasters to discuss hair stylists, restaurants, etc.

TX!

I moved from PC a while ago to Jacksonville. I feel for ya lol.

There's a bunch of new restaurants and shops near Wal Mart. Some are just past it and others are on the road you take to actually get into the Wal-Mart parking lot. I've heard good things. The Italian place (Camilla's) in particular.

As an aside, if you can figure out what someone under 30 is supposed to do for fun in PC that's actually legal, let me know

Yeah, it's boring here. Restaurants suck, no jobs. I have a guaranteed income and a job but for most folks here, they have a hard time making ends meet. Not a whole lot going one. It is primarily a retirement community. Beautiful weather, nice beaches, looks good but...No decent gyms to go to just little mom and pops that are beyond over crowded in the winter, no good restaurants, over crowded golf courses and not enough of them, one cinema and a series of crummy little mom and pop bars. Kevas is right, it sucks. As far as a hair cut, whew, probably Cuttery and find someone you can trust otherwise, you'll come out looking Jersey Shore!

HA HA!!! "One cinema"...that includes 14 that's FOURTEEN screens all stadium seating with awesome high back comfortable rocking chairs.

We just got a Carraba's over near the Wal Mart and the other restaurant is Carmella's. If I need to partake of a place with a bar atmosphere in PC only, there's always Houligan's, HighJackers and McCharacter's. I do so enjoy Golden Lion & Finn's in Flagler Beach with oceanviews. It's not just about PC here, everything is close enough in our small County so it's not a big deal to travel to beachside for plenty more restaurants and bars. PC has plenty of name brand restaurants along with mom & pops. I've always said jobs is the biggest hurdle. Families seem to like the more laid back, nature oriented atmosphere here. Singles I guess have it tougher.
