My family and I are moving down from NJ as soon as the house is done...should be July. I have 3 boys, ages 11, 14 and 15. I was born in Queens grew up in NJ, went to college in Manhattan and worked in Staten Island for many years. So you'll have at least one yankee neighbor if you move down with boys similar ages to yours.

Nocatee. Greenleaf Village to be exact. And I wouldn't mind Derek Jeter being my neighbor.

I made the move 9 months ago and LOVE IT! All of us are from NY and most people I meet are transplants from NY and up north. My Children love it and I love it so much that I now help families relocate to the St. Johns County area, so If I can be of any help let me know!

We are from Chicago, the mid-west of course, but we run into New Yorkers all the time. We love it here. The entire NW of the county is brand new, and most everyone here is from somewhere else. The kids in school have friends from all over the country. You won't have any trouble finding like minded people. Good luck.

LOL My dad is a huge Mets fan so I grew up watching them and they are still my favorite team. That being said I'm not a big sports fan so I wouldn't consider myself a "Mets fan" per say but I will route for them when they play.

I'm a Mets fan too...but part of a mixed marriage. My husband roots for the Yankees.
