If interested in the St Johns County and Fleming Island area there a numerous builders to choose.
ICI, Toll Brothers, Beazer, Watson, KB Homes just to name a few.

High schools are great in St Johns County. A couple of days ago I read an article that Allen D Nease High School had the largest number of National Merit Scholarship finalist of any high school in the nation (very commendable) this year. Visit St. Johns County School District - Home for the school district website. A new high school is currently under construction where my daughter will be an entering freshman next year. The community is very anxious that this school will live up to the reputation of the others.

Sailor butch....I would suggest you do a new post with your question about builders...my post has somewhat died off...
Also, look at greatschools.net to find out about good schools. I will say that i looked at the middle school for Julington Creek and it was an "A" rated number 10 school...which is the best rating. Good luck!

Well, St. John's schools are touted to be quite good. Where your son goes will be dependent on where you buy. Bartram Trail was an A rated school, but you really will want to check out the florida schools sites before you buy, in fact I'm not certain if this year Bartram still was A rated, but as many on this board have said, ratings aren't the only thing to consider. Just google florida schools and you'll find gobs of web sites.
Also, CDD/HOA fees vary depending on where you live, even within Julington Creek Plantation. In fact, some of the subdivisions have no CDD fees, but they all have HOA fees.

As for builders, too many to count. That's going to depend on where you may want to live, and how much you want to spend.

There are many good threads on this forum that weigh in on the different areas in Julington Creek / World Golf Village area. You should also check out those.

Default Moving back to Jax

We are Navy too at NAS JAX. We lived here over 16 years ago. It's been 2 plus years since we returned with kids this time. Lots of people like Clay County the schools, Eagle Harbor, Fleming Island. We live in St Johns County, south of Julington. There are more military now living in St Johns County. Most live in Eagle Harbor. Do check out HOA dues, ours are high and keep going up. We do like the area and plan to stay, good schools and we are finished with moving for now.
