I'm trying to figure out how to attach photos correctly, but either they don't show up or when I try to upload them to CD they're too big and I have to crop each one. There has to be a better way!

I took some photographs of downtown Jacksonville & the gardens at the Cummer Art Museum that I'd like to share. How does everyone else do it, other than using Photo Bucket? Are there any other alternatives?

Thanks!

Oh, I want to see them!

Are you using Photobucket? I can walk you through that one (Photobucket works well with Citydata).

Should I just use Photobucket? Is it easy? I'm kinda techno challenged!

I'm just a hair above computer-moron myself !

Yeah, Photobucket is easy:

1) register for free (use an anonymous username )

2) drag your photos to your desktop

3) in Photobucket, look for the upload photo feature and click "add photo". it will automatically pull photos from your desktop, add the ones you want, then hit "upload now" (beware, the "upload" part is slow)

4) keep Photobucket and CityData open

5) in Photobucket, click the last option under your photo - it says IMG or something? it's a special kind of click, you have to get it just right so a tiny yellow box pops up and says "copied"

6) now go back to your post on CityData and "paste" the code you copied

7) continue "copying" and "pasting" into your CD post

8) on CD, before you hit "submit", try the preview option so you can be sure your photos are there .

Direct Message me if you need more help or anything I wrote does not make sense .

(I'm going offline now though......time for sleep !)

You can also use ImageShack® - Hosting . All you have to do is download the toolbar, and it will upload all the pictures for you automatically. That is the only way I survive posting 30+ pictures at a time.

Wonderful instructions! Thank you so much. I've created an account @ Photobucket.

Here at home (sadly most of my online "stuff" I do at work!) I only have dial-up, so it's going to take a while to upload everything. As soon as they're available I'll post them.

I always appreciate everyone else's photos, and would love to share my own, also.

Have a wonderful weekend!
