We found two houses to rent close to these two schools. We are wondering if anyone has children attending either of these schools. If so, any comments or advice would greatly be appreciated. We have a daughter who is gifted, she loves joining activities, but is a bit shy and not good at making friends easily. She is really nervous about starting a new school. Thanks in advance!!!

A little off-topic, but hopefully you've already made application to rent one of them and paid the security deposit. That area rents quickly, so if you're even a little slow to act, you may miss out. Just thought I'd mention that.

Take care!

Our son has attended both Fruit Cove and Swiss Point and we were very pleased with both of them. More importantly, he had great experiences at both. One thing that may be helpful to your daughter is knowing that she will not be "the new girl" for very long. So many people continue to move into this area that new students are constantly being enrolled at both FCMS and SPMS and in the same situation that your daughter will be in. Last year SPMS had a monthly social gathering for newcomers during a lunch period; not sure if FCMS does that.
EricBoyd is spot-on with his comment on rentals. Once you've found a place that works for your family don't hesitate to put in your application or you may lose out on it.
Good luck with your move!

yep, there are 3 homes that are rentals in our neighborhood and they all were rented within 9 days of the sign going up this past month.
