Me too. I hate to use the "d" word (destiny) and jinx it, but this year's Jags team certainly has that feel.

:-( So close, damn Brady.

Would have been good to run out some clock after the late takeaway by Jack.

But good showing by Jags, they could have won that game, and they are a very good team.

New England EARNED that victory, Jags didn't lay down for the Pats. The Jags are a rising team, so they'll be back next year.

Maybe this comes off as sour grapes but I honestly believe the Jags were/are a better team. Some BS calls (and no calls) really helped the Pats sneak this one out. The Bouye interference call should never have been called and there was a ton of holding by the Pats' O-line that was never called. You're telling me they really only committed one penalty the entire game??? And that was on special teams!

The real killer was the delay of game vs the Jags offense. If we complete that pass we go up either 17-3 or 21-3 at halftime vs. 14-10.

I think Bortles earned his spot on the team for the next several years. Other than that delay of game, it was a near perfect game from him again. Would have liked to see him run a bit more but his passes were almost all perfectly thrown and he had no turnovers yet again.

1-10 vs. 6-98 and most of those 6 were in critical situations for the Pats.

According to NFL Research, the single flag thrown on the Patriots Sunday made for the lowest total for one team in a playoff contest since the 2011 AFC championship game, when the Patriots also had just one penalty while defeating the Ravens.........

Although I am a Bengals fan first, I will always root for the Jags! Great season!
