Your thoughts on Murabellas are on par with other reviews I've read. Very nice community but seemingly out on it's own island with not many amenities around.

BTW - 1.5 hours each way? My god, where is he driving to?

We are currently in Lake Mary (just north of Orlando), and he'll be driving into St. Augustine. Yeah, its a good 90 minutes door to door.

I will check out your thread about the different neighborhoods! Thanks!!

I wasn't able to find the link to your post about the master planned communities and I'm very interested in it. Could you please send me the link? My husband and I are moving from AZ to St. Augustine in May and we are exploring the possibility of buying a home in the Villages of Valencia community. What are your thoughts about the area? Thanks!

I would appreciate some input from the locals on the following:
1. Are there any family friendly subdivisions, that do not have CDDs? Is 200k reasonable for the area?

2. Let me be clear, I don't want to have a boat or a car on blocks, but if we would have a vegetable garden within a fenced area of our yard, would it be common that an HOA would fine?
Hi! I was wondering what community you decided for. We are moving from AZ in May and have pretty much the same desires for our new home/community. We are currently looking at the Villages of Valencia community in the St. Augustine South area. Any information that you could give us will be very much appreciated. Thanks!
