It got up to 82 here today. What happened to that cold front we've been hearing about?!

How wonderful!

I'm envious, though. It's around 30-35F here, with some snow.
But Jacksonville (or rather PVB) - we're coming soon! I'm so excited and hope for fine weather until Jan. 8.

Connie

I beat the rain for my dog's walk this a.m.

Kids and I bought the makings for s'mores a few days ago and have been waiting to light a fire in the fire place!

I'm loving it!

I really need this warm weather to hold out. I need to lay some sod.....yes, I know, terrible time of year to do it, but I have no choice!

So, HIF, if you could hold off on the s'mores for a little longer and let me keep this warm weather, it would be much appreciated!

Default Question about palms in the winter

Got a question about palms...planted a few nice green queens in the backyard recently. They are supposed to thrive in all kinds of weather but lately some of the fronds have turned yellow and even dark brown, particularly the ends. Do these fronds eventually die or come back in the spring?

they will die and should be trimmed, make sure you give them water
