Followup: Got an estimate on completion of job. Then called contractor a couple times without answer. Finally I left a message (7 days ago) saying, "maybe we just agree to call it off. You walk away and I pay someone else to finish. That way you get rid of a big problem (me)."

Follow up to the followup - Guys (4) showed up today and worked from about 1:30 to 5:30. At this point everything is done except for them picking up some dirt and doing a little concrete repair work.
