Someone is driving around my town (Starke, rural outside of Gainesville) and sticking their stupid school board campaigning signs into the ground. I have already found these crappy signs at an entrance to my private property about 5 times. Husband and I yank them out of the ground, toss them in the street, in the mud, in the ditch, and the desperate little lady who needs us all to vote for her in the school election (or her sidekick, whoever it is, maybe her husband) comes by, digs them out of the mud and sticks them right back into the grass again! She obviously isn't getting my very obvious hint! Haven't called the police yet, I don't really want to bog them down just yet with a non-911 emergency . . . So desperate and nervy she is. Today we spotted the idiot driving onto our property and posting the sign again, even much more closer to our front door. Real nervy, isn't it? I have a lot of wants and needs too, but yet I don't slap them onto people's private properties . . . Why do these wannabbes think I am giving them free advertising space on my private property? Anyone have this problem? Anyone know (and can you post a link) the State of Florida law regarding these signs?

Spray paint a red circle with a line through it on the sign and leave it there

When you saw them today driving onto your property, did you consider talking to them about it? That might be more effective than ranting about it on a message board.

How about going out there when you see her doing it and say "Hey, stop putting your stupid signs on my property ya old bag!"

OR

strategically place emoticons all over an anonymous geographically specific Internet forum that is outside the area in which you actually live.

This was easy. It's similar to campaign sign laws in most states:
