Radio Stations/Shows in Jax.
I remembering the radio shows in Jax when i left in 1995. WOKV A.M. was the largest signal with most national shows. Is it still there? How about David Lamm in the morning sports as i believe it was WINZ A.M. and what about The Greg Larson show in the evenings doing sports.
Are there any local shows that just feature Jax and the local events/news etc..and for people to call in and what about High School Football as i remember that was big back then on the radio.
On F.M. i do like 102.9 the Point as they play all the 80's hits and of course Rock 105 but now Lex and Terry are gone. I listen to those stations on the internet.
Anyway thats a few that i remember.

WOKV is now on am and fm, both - 106.5. http://wokv.com/ Lex and Terry never left the airwaves, they only moved their homes to Dallas and had their show moved to 107.3.

I wasn't happy when they changed the format on 100.7.Jax needs a oldies rock & roll station.I heard rock 105 is bring Bubba the love what ever to town. The guy has a bad rep. From on and off air conduct.Being rude and crude is not funny or entertaining.

Bubba the love sponge, he's on Sirius channel 101, Howard Stern's channel. It's actually better to hear uncensored materials. down with the FCC!

Sports Radio
When I have been in Jax, I listened to both sports stations and I found 1010XL to be the better of the two. Lamm was pretty boring while 1010XL had Sports Final Radio with Tony Boselli, not to mention that they had local shows all day long.
