If you have anything to say about Bartram vs PVB vs Creekside vs Allen Nease High...or reasons why select one over the others, please share. We will move there and need to choose the school first.
Thanks

All are great academically. We are zoned for Creekside and my daughter went there for a year. She found it be be very cliquey. In order to go within district but out of zone you must apply for and get accepted to an academy at the school you want to go to. My daughter is in the fashion academy at Bartram and has been very happy there.

I family friend is zoned for Bartram but at Nease in the ROTC program. I don't think you can go wrong in any of them.

If any of you have attended the First Coast Nutcracker at the Times Union Center, except for the two professionals every year, the main parts are from my daughters dance level at Douglas Anderson. This year, May 2nd and 3rd, they are doing Sleeping Beauty at the Time Union Center as well.

you really can't go wrong with any of them. Neighbor across the street is zoned for Creekside but his freshman boy goes to Ponte Vedra for the microbiology academy.

Great topic brought up in this thread. I didn't know about the academies at the different high schools. What a great bonus for the schools there! Another check in the better category. I must look into this more.
