Yesterday was my first day at Panera bread as Delivery Driver. But due to not reaching the required number of delivery driver, I will stay at the restaurant until we became 7 drivers (they must be very confident over hiring 7 drivers). ok...

My question is,
How many deliveries do I make from 11-7pm if my location has 7 drivers? Is this logic to hire 7 drivers? But on the bright side you get discount 65% on food.

Seems like they didnt have enough work to send everyone on the road. Did you at least get a paycheck while you were working? I'm guessing you did. You may want to ask one of your fellow drivers this same question. You're likely to get a much more informed answer.

So if you're not being sent out on the road, do they ask that you actually work in the restaurant? Doing what?

I didn't realize Panera does delivery. Is that for corporate functions and offices? Actually I think I've seen a guy taking bags out into his vehicle before at the Panera by me, so guess that is what he is doing. Was wondering the same, when you're not delivering do you have to work inside? This guy I've seen in the kitchen area before as well, maybe helping prep everything for his deliveries.

They need me to work 2 weeks till they reach the 7 drivers. I personally didn't see another what so called delivery driver been there except me. I worked for 4 hours. And you don't wanna see what is behind the restaurant.

Doing everything; from taking off plates on tables, cleaning tables... everything.

They deliver to almost everywhere but they concentrates on businesses. Did you see topper on his car? if not, then he ordered online and he is picking up. There are shelves next to where they are bringing foods. And they put foods which has been pre-ordered. I do the same thing that other associates does.
