Default River Glen in Yulee

I am looking at having a house built in River Glen in Yulee. However, I am concerned about flooding. Also, does nayone have experience with Morrison Builders and Providence Builders? Any and information is appreciated.

We were just down looking at River Glen a few weeks ago. We ended up buying a Providence home, only down in the Greenland Chase community. RG looks like a great lil community that is out of the way (i.e. No traffic) without being remote. Great value for your money compared with building new in Duval or St. Johns county. As far as flooding....I believe that the community is outside of the 100 year flood plain....close but not really in it. I wouldn't be concerned with flooding.

We never really looked at any Morrison homes.

Hope this helps.

You can use the FEMA site to check for flood risk at the property you're looking into, and you might want to do a spot check of some surrounding properties as well:

FloodSmart.gov: What's Your Flood Risk?
