Only problem is every bond I bought then has been pre-refunded/called - mostly in 2018/19. Robyn

Yes, but who knew interest rates would stay this low for this long. I bought lots of things that I now look back on and wish I had bought longer term paper. I am starting to think interest rates might not go back to normal rates in my lifetime. Japan II. It is a bad time for savers.

I usually buy my fish and beef at Fresh Market. They also have sockeye when it's in season.

Meat is easy in Jacksonville. It's fruits and veggies that's hard. Especially at a good price.

Can't find ají for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capsicum_baccatum

or recao: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eryngium_foetidum

I can sometimes find more at the beaver street farmers market. Gotta haggle a bit but they sometimes have what I need.

It's also crazy how much Publix charges for Yuca.

I use to go to Beaver street. I could haggle and get super deals, but then I saw someones dog just come up to the veggies and like them. I was like, "Is that sanitary" My advice is, anything you buy there wash 10 times is my advice. Now in reality who knows if the other stuff is any better, but at least you do not see it and I guess bugs crawl on fruits and veggies, so maybe it is not even a big deal.

Personally I am growing a bunch in my backyard. Thank goodness for no crazy HOA here.

I was very excited to see fresh wild caught salmon in Publix and stocked up. Of course, it is not the same as when I lived in Alaska for 18 years and flew by small plane, landing on sand bars, to catch the real thing. Nothing like catching it and cooking it within hours when the sea lice were still on it. Sigh...the good old days.
