Ok, so who likes BBQ? I'm talking about that finger lickin' smokey stuff that gets tended for hours BBQ.

I really have enjoyed Tombo's on Phillips Hwy, and Black Jack's on San Juan (formerly KC Bar B Que).

I too like Mojo.

Also, Brown Brothers on King St. in Riverside. Local boys, local quality.

I didn't know that Tombo's had ribs- it's my Saturday morning on-the-way-to-Lowe's breakfast joint. I'll have to try them.

Mojo's is our favorite. We've been to the one on University.

Chains- Sticky Fingers and Smokey Bones get my vote, too. Love that dry rub.

Actually, I'm not sure if they have ribs. I usually get their pulled pork. To die for. Black Jack's has great ribs if you ever get over the the west side. Another old joint is Cottons in N Jax. Been there forever, and great ribs too.

Sticky Fingers, for some authentic Memphis-style BBQ.

Pulled pork works.....

One thing I haven't found is real NC BBQ sauce- the kind that is vinegar-based, no ketchup. I've tried those that try to be authentic, but just don't quite hit the mark.
