Thanks Gradco
I have been watching the changes every time I go to either Costoc or the town center.
I am curious if there are plans to widen Gate parkway at the Gate Parkway/town center intersection.
Already it is a "cluster you know" what with folks not wanting to wait to get in the right lane to turn onto Town center drive so they make the turn from the middle lane on Gate.
Also folks coming down Gate from Tinseltown that don't want to wait in that line are going down 1 light and making a u-turn at the Costco/ Bonos light

Thank's Gradco2004. There have been posts about this development but nothing about the restaurants and some of the other store until your post. It's nice to see McCormick & Schmick coming as well as Loehmann's (check out the Back Room deals ladies).

Is the Markets @ Town Center the next phase of the SJTC or is it separate?
I am happy to hear about Loehmann's, too! I haven't been able to shop there since I lived in the DC area :-)
Some of the others are good too!

I'm not familiar with these stores except for Loehman's and the Big Box stores. What's McCormick?

damn, wish McCormick & Schmick was here earlier, they had free $20/$25 gift certificate sometimes when you make reservation online. but hope they'll also have the happy hour specials too.
McCormick, the people that made spices, check your pantry?
BJ's, interesting they're going to compete directly next to costco.
and again, CHIPOTLE!
Also, they MUST do something about how the lanes are, it's like one of the most dangerous lanes to merge into coming off JTB. Should widen it to double turning lane or something.
This is a welcoming change though, just hope it'll be done within the year.

So this will run the starbucks total for the SJTC area to 3. Seriously do we need 3 Starbucks within a half mile radius?
This is why I hate the big chains, because the little guy "mom and pop" can't compete with them. How could a mom and pop coffee place move in here....they would have to compete with 3 starbucks? Is there any coffee market left? Let me tell you if a cuban coffee shop moved in, they would put starbucks to shame. You can't beat cuban coffee!
Of all places that I have lived, this is the first place where chain stores did not have trouble moving in. When I lived in Ithaca, NY it took like 10 years for box chains to move in, because people wanted the mom and pop stuff. The city government would not let them move in. They would not approve their permits. And although the chains eventually did move in on the "outskirts of town," I met so many people who still supported the local guys for as much as they could. A totally different mindset here in JACTIONVILLE....major props to the person who coined that in another thread.
Although, of all chains I do like Starbucks because they give benefits to their employees.
