Let me start this off by saying that I never go fishing, I never have fired a gun and the last time I went camping was in my parent's backyard--in suburban Chicago w/ a fence around me. With that said, and I know a lot of you hate chains, but this is one of those stores that is a "destination shop". A place people drive all from far distances for. This area is a sportsmans paradise, and I have certainly seen "lesser" cities get them. I think it would be perfect to put right at the World Golf Village exit w/ the new shopping going in. It is already suppose to be a destination place and now they would have one more reason to show up there. I know this thread could easily turn into a "what stores would you like to see here thread" or what I like to call the IKEA thread for many, but really. I dont have a neighbor that does not at least own an expenisve fishing reel, boat or gun. That is what they sell there.

Hey there you are very correct in pointing out that there is so many outdoorsman and women here that a store like that would do well. Just one exit down 95 from WGV there is a store called ""
Gander " I do believe. I have yet to go in the store but it seems from what I have been able to find to be much like a Bass Pro Shop. I know that it is a clip for someone in jax to drive to. But everything is a drive here anyway isn't it. Hope you check the place out and let us know what you find. Later
