"Sprinkles" or "Jimmies"
These came up at work today while I was talking with a co worker who moved from Denver.
On the donuts there were "Jimmies" and when I said it he looked at me like I was nuts. He never heard that before and said they were "Sprinkles".
What do you call them? And where are you from?

Jimmies - we'd have them on our ice cream cones following a supper of subs and tonic. (Came from MA, north of Boston.)

I am at Work in NJ today when this all happened. I did an office poll also and 8-4 for jimmies here in S NJ.

whiskey tango foxtrot @ jimmies. never heard of SPRINKLES called that until now! (from hawai'i and also lived in SoCal for a few years).
