Tremendous quality. They really go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Of course, you pay dearly for that quality.

Default Quality of ICI Homes

There building lacks quality and attention to detail. They are more concerned with building the home as fast as possible and not paying attention to detail.

There are a lot of little things that they miss during the building process.

Great reputation. You can work off of one of their existing plans or come up with something on your own.

I have personally built two homes with them in Palm Coast. One I sold for a profit after one and a half years, and the other, I'm living in now in a gated community. They give you more value for your money, and I like their open style executive home models that are not very expensive to build. Their designs are open to personal interpretation which I did. Of course like everywhere else, you have to be there checking on the construction. Building a home is one of our biggest investment in life, one should not just leave it to the building supervisor to make sure your house is built right. I had issues with my first house (because I trusted the supervisor's assurance) but which they corrected right away. My second house was great but only because I learned from my first? But ICI really does give you a beautiful home for the money. Even in this declining market, I think I can still my house for more than it cost me.
Good luck on your house plans.....
Josie

You may want to ask some of the homeowners in Turtle Shores what they think of the quality of ICI Homes.

ICI is the WORST builder EVER. I am a Turtle Shores homeowner, and, within 18 months of move in - My home has suffered SO MUCH WATER DAMAGE due to their INCOMPETENCE. I URGE EVERYONE TO RUN AWAY - DO NOT BUILD AN ICI HOME....TELL EVERYONE. I WOULD NOT ALLOW THEM TO BUILD MY DOGHOUSE. THEY ARE ARROGANT IDIOTS AND HAVE NO QUALITY CONTROL WHATSOEVER. THE COST FOR REPAIRS SO FAR IS $100,000

Half the people here hate them, and the other half love them. That probably isn't much help.
