Beauclerc Elementary School started a dual language program this year. Next year it will add a first grade, the following year second grade and so on. The classes are taught both in spanish and english and the children this year have done great. San Jose also started a dual language program. If their remains a demand for dual language program, perhaps more schools will join the band wagon.

There are 2 dual language programs in Jacksonville where the classes are taught in both english and spanish. This was their first year and it's heading toward a success. They are Beauclerc and San Jose. They started with kindegarten this year and every year they will add an additional grade until they have a strand from kindergarten thru fifth grade. If the demand is there perhaps we might add additional schools.

There are quite a few LDS families in the NW St. Johns area, just south of Mandarin. There are several in my neighborhood of Ivy Lakes. There's also quite a few in Mandarin from what I've heard. Find the better schools and you'll typically find your best families there--it goes without saying.
