Dominican Grocery in Jacksonville???
I just moved to Jacksonville and was wondering if there are any Dominican or latin grocery stores in the city that sell dominican products. Im particularly interested in finding dominican salami..platanos..seasonings..etc.

I know of a Dominican Restaurant called Puerto Plata:

You could ask them where to get stuff. I have not seen any Dominican stores other than that. I know of a Peruvian, many Mexican, Brazilian, and a general central and south American grocery store in the area. There is also a place called Caribbean Grocery Mart on Atlantic that may have some dominican stuff....but I think it is run by Puerto Ricans.

You can find platanos at basically all of the hispanic grocery stores, but I like to buy them from the Beach Blvd. Flea Market.

All of the fruits and veggies are really cheap there and the vendors that sell them are hispanic (I am not sure which country?).

Probably better luck in Orlando finding spanish groceries, but Blanding Blvd. has it all so I'd check it out.
