Default [PHOTOS] Rivercity Marketplace / Mirador Apartments

Random Pictures From April 21st

This place is growing like crazy. I bet the people who got in on real estate around the area before hand, are feeling pretty good about their investment now.

As much as I loathe senseles suburban SPRAWL, I can't help but feel happiness for the Northside. They really needed this. I guess I can complain a million times over how they COULD HAVE done this, or COULD HAVE done that, but bottom line, the Northside needed the retail, housing, and jobs. I guess I will give the developers a free pass this ONE time... huh?

Well, on with the pics. I snapped a few pics on my way there of the Dames Point Bridge, and our new Mitsui port site.

Here is the apartment homepage on forrent.com

View Mirador at River City Apartments For Rent in Jacksonville, Florida - ForRent.com

They are extremely nice. There is another apartment complex going up directly behind it that looks like it is going to be "urbanish." It will have a parking garage & such.... the area is very nice to say the least. Not to mention the rent is uncomparable. An apartment of that calibur anywhere else in the city is at least $200 more than the listed price. I guess it is low so that people will give the area a chance?

The apartments are walking distance from the shopping center. They are kind of "on campus" if you will.

Great pics .

I agree, it's nice to see this on the Northside. With all the new jobs coming in with the port, things should progress nicely for the Northside.

There is more to come in that immediate area, just wait two years from now... there are expansions plans moving from the first light at the Rivercity entrance, up Duval Rd to Main St. , plus im sure you heard about Shands building medical above Rivercity between Duval and Main St....
