Default How to get to the airport
Is there a cheap way to get from Tinseltown to the airport without driving? I am planning a 2 week trip, so I think parking at the airport will be expensive!! Any buses, shared shuttle services, etc?

I will likely also be bringing my dog in an in-cabin bag. So my options might be really limited...

Long term parking is $6. a day times 14 days is $84. , a taxi would be about the same for a round trip, a limo is $80 or so each way. I know of no shuttles or buses from there. There is a bus from downtown to the airport but you'll need to get to it.

I called the downtown bus and they won't let even crated animals on the bus :-( I kinda figured that, but I was hoping that they would since trains in a lot of cities do.

I would just park at the airport and eat the $80.... or try to have a friend drop you off.....

Call 355 TAXI...they are the most reliable in Jax. Thats about a 42$ fare but youll get there on time. your car remains safe and you don't have to waste your one gas. peace
