Default 4 wheel drive spots, parks???????

i just moved here. Is their any national parks, beaches, or places that require 4x4. I love to take my family to off road places to fish and sight see. just no places illegal to be and not really difficult.

None to my knowledge.

Most of our beach parks are undeveloped/preservation, so they don't allow 4x4.

As far as I know, you'd have to own your own land in the country in order to legally 4x4 around here.

Jennings State Forest in Clay county allows you to drive on the dirt roads, but I don't think you will need 4x4 to get through most of it. http://www.fl-dof.com/state_forests/...nnings_map.pdf

If you want to play with your 4x4, you can always go to the Mud Bog off 301 just south of Highland and before Lawtey. $5 per vehicle. Sundays only, usually starting around 11am... til whenever. Private owned land, country fun, and usually a sheriff there to make sure things don't get out of control.
