Recommendation
I am getting ready to put laminate wood flooring in my great room. I have friends who said they would come over and help install it because it was pretty easy.
I thought it would be a good idea to price installation also, in case the friends can't work it into their schedule.
Anyone have a recommendation for an installer? I am going to purchase the product from a local store, and will ask for an estimate for installation. I just thought I would get more than one estimate if I could, but I don't know where to go/call.

Don't go to Floor Territory in Mandarin. I had a lot of problems with some of their installation work, and never did get it resolved to my satisfaction. I just finally gave up.

I went to a place on Phillips called FloorWorks. They seemed pretty upfront.
I would like a recommendation of an installer that would not get the job from the place where I buy the laminate.

I have to disagree....we bought our carpet from Lowe's and got the $299 whole house installation special. The guys came in and did a great job, and were very professional. What they told me, and I don't know if this is true, is that Lowe's pays their subs better than Home Depot. Anyone else with any flooring experience in this area?

I meant, I wanted to get an installer who was not with the retail store where I purchased the laminate because I wanted to compare estimates from the retail store with an independent installer. I'm looking to get the best deal. I wasn't saying that the installation from the retail store wasn't a good idea. I'm just shopping prices.
I think I've found the best deal with Floor Works.

I wish that I had read this column before putting money down on carpeting. Floor Territory took my money and ran... They walked away from their lease and left the store fully stocked with everything except my carpet order.
Does anyone know of a really good attorney in Jacksonville??? Desperately, need help!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it was on San Jose blvd in Mandarin. I sent an email to the Florida Attorney General this afternoon. Will wait for results. I tried calling both of the residence phone numbers for the owner and they are disconnected. Big surprise!! Thanks for the assistance, you guys. Much appreciated.
