Good luck. Let us know how it goes. Landon Middle would be a good place to teach as it is changing into a magnet school. But, you will have to have or start to get a gifted endorsement. Crown Point, Loretto, Mandarin Oaks, and Beaclerc Elementaries would be good schools in which to teach. Mandarin Middle, James Weldon Johnson, and Darnell-Cookman would be good middle schools in which to teach.
If there is no job offer, you should conact the principals yourself. Don't wait to hear from the disrict office.

well, good news! I got a job at one of the places you listed I'll PM you the exact info


that fair was CRAZY, and I would say that 70% of the schools didn't have any vacancies

I'm hoping a good friend of mine gets a teaching job in Jacksonville as well.........so I don't have to either find a roomie or live in a sub-par 1 bedroom.

I have a child (and by child I mean lazy 4 year old beagle), so sometimes that throws a wrench in the plans.

Did your friend interview at the job fair also?

No. There was a mix-up with her paperwork...but I hope she can find something after the fact.
