Hi I will be coming from Georgia to Jax, FL in 6-8 months. I will be working in the Deerwood Campus Pkwy area... I have never been to Jax but I LOVE FL in general. Any recommendations on a location to look for housing (Rentals for the 1st year) then will consider buying. It will be myself, my husband, and 3 kids. I want to make sure we are in a good area with good schools. Also just curious WE LOVE the beach, about how far is the beaches from there?

My husband and kids ALL play soccer as well so we're hoping this can be continued when we move... Thanks for eveything! Any info is appreciated I am starting all my researching!!!

P.S. As far as my husband he will be looking for work, he does Drywall type work (Hanging/Finishing) Acousti etc... Is this hard to find or pretty good market?

You can find nice rentals right in the immediate area of your work, you don't need to look far at all.

There are nice apartments and also houses to rent right there in the Deerwood area.

If you'll be working in Deerwood, you could live at the beach and comute. With traffic I would guesstimate it would take you about 30 minutes each way. I suggest Ponte Vedra Beach, 32082. The schools are great and it's very family oriented. My sister lives there with her 3 and they have all been involved in soccer and tennis. I'm sure you could easliy find a rental in that area too. Good Luck and welcome to Jax!
