Default Best Thai in Town (Orange Park, Jacksonville)

I had dinner with my wife at a Thai Restaurant on Wells Road for lunch and the food was very good. I used to go to Thai Restaurants in DC and Bethesda, MD when I lived up there.

What are you opinions on the best Thai Restaurants in Orange Park and Jacksonville?

As much Thai food as I like to eat, you would think I was "Thai"-Tanium MD

Thai Garden on Blanding, next to Red Lobsters.

Southside - Lemongrass
San Marco - Basil
(those two are related)

JAX Beach - Thai Room.
(they're related to Pom Thai Bistro.)

Sala Thai on beach blvd is not bad too.

Hello TitaniumMD

I am partial to Thai Cafe on Park/US-17 in Orange Park, and Authentic Taste of Thai on University Blvd between I-95 and Beach Blvd in the Southside. Thai Palace on San Jose is also good.

The others gave excellent suggestions, but these are my favorites.

I have yet to try the one on Wells Rd; what is it called and where is it exactly?

Hmm, I find Pom's to be overpriced and not fantastic. The best Thai I've ever had is in San Francisco though.

I like Sala Thai on Beach...

Also, I like Pattaya Thai on Baymeadows.

I used to like Lemongrass, but no so much recently.

Next to Edwin Watts Golf Store and Firehouse subs.

I was curious about Thai Cafe since I drive by it on my way to work from Fleming Island.

Thanks
will check it out
BTW, I just wanted to characterize the choices I made in my earlier post... I usually eat out with my wife, and with 4 small kids in tow (they are well-behaved and are budding foodies!), so I patronize homey, child-friendly establishments that are typically a little short on the ambience. However, I expect authentic stuff, and Thai Cafe and Authentic Taste of Thai are run by Thai folk. Their menus, however, may not be as extensive as those you will find at Pom's, Old Siam, etc.
Cheers

Few local Thai restaurants are actually run by Laos and Cambodian.
Many of them cash in the fact that Thai is still exotic food, unlike age-old Chinese food, so the prices here are pretty high.

The one on Wells rd, it's Siam Thai on the sign. Used to called something in Thai, but it's hard to pronounce so I guess they changed the name.

Thai Cafe has a lot of curry dishes.

I liked Sala Thai on Beach real well. Did NOT like Lemon Grass on Baymeadows at all....that's MY $0.02.
