Does anyone know of any public game lands or hunting lands? My husband and son like to deer hunt 1or 2 times a year. They are not avid hunters, just like to get out once in a while. My husband likes just sitting in nature more than the actual hunt itself. he has a very stressful job and I think it relaxes him. He said he likes to watch the birds and squirrells and if a deer just happens to be moseying along so be it. I think he just likes no cell phones and spending time with his son!!! Thanks!

Go to walmart, Gander mountain, Dicks really any store that sees hunting and fishing stuff and they will have the regulations book there. There is a map that tells you where to do.
You need to get a license and a pass for the area that you want to hunt. Here are some links to help you out till you get the book. There is also an on-line PDF version.
