really, threading???! amazing. i wish i would have known that when i still lived in jax! i only knew about the threading lady on the westside. threading is so much better than waxing, but that's just my opinion.

hmmmm so what's the price for threading (avg) vs. waxing?

I saw a lady doing threading recently. I think it was at the OP or The Avenues mall.

Waxing is $10 on average

Threading is $10-15 on average

You can't really compare the two, quality wise.

Waxing is like cutting your lawn with a mower
Threading is like cutting your lawn with scissors.

The precision is better with threading, and it is a lot less painful.

I find it lasts longer as well. Waxing, you need every two weeks, threading just once a month.

Just my observations... everyone's experience will vary, though.

I enjoy the fact that I don't have to leave the salon looking like I have a shiny sunburn on the top of my eyes

Lex Nails at University & San Jose is worth the drive from Mandarin for nails and waxing. Very nice, clean, family-owned shop.
