do you have any areas you prefer just because of locale?

we live out in Oakleaf....it's in Orange Park/Middleburg. They have a brand new high school out here (opening this fall) and two elementary schools/jr. high. We've been very pleased with our neighborhood. I have a 6 year old and a 14 year old.

jvbound...We are moving to Jacksonville in about seven weeks. We are focusing our house-hunting on Ponte Vedra, Julington Creek Plantation, and Oakleaf. Our main concerns are schools and safety.

I've gotten tons of excellent feedback from this site!

What about Rogers Avenue (32208) is it a good place to live or not?

Hi. Good responses on Jax. I'm considering relocating to Jax also. Hey I was wondering if you could also direct me to an area(s) or condo or apartment complexes in those areas you described in Jax that would be good socially for a 52 yr. old single man. Maybe an area with lots of single women. I'd love to meet someone and get married again some day.

Thank you and I really appreciate it.

If I had a choice between being homeless or living in a Lennar home, give me the cardboard box. It's probably better quality anyways. My opinion only!

HI. i appriciate all the info because im going to be moving to jacksonville but i looked up the crime rate and it look like the best place to live is the southeast. i looked up point vedra beach and the crime rate was high though. What would be the best neighborhood that would be safe for my son. And which school would be safe for him; he is 12 years old?
