Its not like we don't already have plenty of clubs & live venues. Why not bring something new??

I would like to add diversity. It would be wonderful to have an upscale venue that is not racially divided. I'm not against dividing class, but would surely like a place where I don't feel like I'm living in the south 20 years ago. This place (Jax) is so Black and White. Either way Mostly to all Black or Mostly to all white. Not to say that there aren't any places like that without diverse existences here, because that is false. But those are usually small, more family type places (like Cheers). It would be nice to step into an odd place and receive treatment of a human being and not forced niceness or pre-judgment because of what was covered on the news the night before. I’m very diverse when it comes to music and thinks your music choice is great. I don’t feel we need another club in Jacksonville, if so; it should be for a mature crowd. I hate to say it, because it doesn’t make me any better, but maybe a 25 and older spot. Hmm maybe even 30+, lol!

As someone said earlier we need Bartenders that enjoy there jobs. They are the most important factor of your business success. Make sure you balance your bartenders versus customers. Not having enough bartenders or assistants also can contribute to the bartenders’ attitudes.

I have visited many other areas of the United States and when I return here I feel like I fell asleep in a time machine and someone set the timer to 1960 – 1979.

PARKING – MAJOR ISSUE when it comes to downtown. Many stay away from downtown due to this issue.

A Great View that matches the environment.

SECURITY – Night time downtown can be very scary at times especially if you have to walk a little ways to your car. Downtown can appear very dark. Then again that could just be me.

CLEANINESS, CLEANINESS, CLEANINESS…VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!

We may live in the south. But we don’t all classify ourselves as people from the DIRTY SOUTH! UGH!

PROFESSIONAL – need I say more?

Dos Gatos would fit the bill, on E. Forsyth acorss from the Florida Theater. It's half bar, half lounge, no dance floor, with DJ on at least night per weekend.

Also there a brand new nightspot called "Lit" that just opened up in that cluster of 7 other nightspots. Now 8.

(Ivy, Marks, Dive Bar, TSI, London Bridge, Poppy Love Smoke, Dos Gators, & now Lit)

Not to mention the Landing a few blocks down, certainly with-in walking distance.
