need help to expose all of this as even the st augustine record our local paper will not tell the story like they have not told how certain officials here are under investigation for campaign funding

for 4 months now there has been a contractor working for a Doc which has been trying to build 7 homes.
The deal was that he can build them but he builds the county a road nearly 300 feet.
Now he has knocked down trees, and cleared the area.

After looking down where he is working we found that he has been dumping

now the trees he has knocked down have not been taken out but put on other peoples plots of land

as you can see these houses are not even 15 foot away from the construction

after looking more closely at this contractor we see he is not even licensed

Now we have told the county and county officials many times what is going on
they have lied and said that he does have a license, when he doesn;t
they said he maybe hasn't had time to get the trash out when he has had it down there for at least 3 months
the land he has knocked down which is not his or have a permit for is being told to us that maybe it does belong to him when county records state it does not
they refuse to replace the trees
they have been telling other neighbors that they will investigate and told other neighbors that they have checked and everything is alright

seems the county and the officials are ignoring all this and letting all this happen because they want their road built as this county has no money, it is broke.
well done to cindy stevenson who is the county commissioner for ruining this county by letting developers donate to her campaigns and have helped to get her elected, in exchange she has over 94% approval rate for developers
so now because we have tried to expose the cover up we are being nearly run over by the unlicensed contractor who has a past of assaulting police, robbery with a gun, fraud etc etc etc

we need some help before someone gets killed, just yesterday a man was nearly hit with the guys pick up truck as this guy likes to drive as close as possible to people to scare them and so they shut up

yes the police have been informed but it is the county officials like Mr Bernhaum(not sure spelling) who are lying and trying to cover up all this

I know a man has been to the county meetings and shown them all this but nothing has been done.
Now I sleep with a gun next to my bed, another woman has a shotgun.
two other neighbors want to move out quick regardless of losing money, life is more important
other neighbors are just scared the county will come after them if they speak out
so we need advice on how to get this out to people higher han county officials

I think you are on to something here, but because of the economy and the housing troubles, I'm afraid you are going to see more of this kind of activity going on. Again....please be very careful everyone about who you select as a contractor. There is a lot of underhanded things going on right now.

I did some further research, and Alpha Contracting is co-owned by Daphne Camille Crawford, who is legally licensed as a Contractor, which means Alpha is legally licensed to do the work. You may be out of luck. I would suggest further research and be careful because you could open yourself up to a slander lawsuit if other things like the permitting does check out and you just overlooked it. I wish you luck but please be careful.

she did this power of attorney a week and a half after his conviction for domestic battery at the end of last year

this also does not cover the trash dumping, the trees not being taken away he knocked down and also knocking down land which he has no permit for
plus
the website states they have over 20 years experience well how does he have that when he has been in jail for different charges


the question here is why are those in charge of permit, codes, building etc not looking into this and saying he should move the trash, he should replace the trees which he knocked down and remove the trash, why do they lie to many of the neighbors when they said they went down there

Cindy Stevenson our elected official did not know where our area is and when a woman told her about how her kids cannot go outside she was told by Stevenson that it will only be a year and to keep her kids inside for that time

All I'm saying is that She is listed on the DBPR website as the "qualifier" for this business, so based on that, they are legal to operate.


Now as far as the trash dumping issues, you should most likely take your case to the EPA...they hit the big national builders hard for a little "silt" getting into a storm drain, they would probably fine this company in the millions if it's as bad as you say. Heck, call OSHA even, they can always find something wrong on even the most well run jobsites!! Those agencies are Feds, and they hit hard when you can get their attention.

First off I want to say I am not on any side here but I have to make these comments.

Is there anything that says when the trash has to be removed from a site? If the trash isn't harmful to people or the environment I don't see a code saying it has to be removed in a time frame.

Blocking the path also doesn't seem to be a code violation.

The trash on other peoples’ lots is wrong, but are you sure they didn't have the ok from the land owners? Also are you saying it is someone else lot because it is over the Black edging or have you surveyed the lot and know it is over the property lines?

As far as the contractor making threats to you and your families. That isn't something to take to the city counsel. You should call the Police!!!!

You must be careful that you don't get your self in trouble also. Just posting on this site could be slander. Also the pics that you took show that you were on the person's lot. He could use them to press trespassing charges against you.
