Just a reminder, October 6th is the deadline to register to vote in Florida.

You can register to vote online:

https://www.voterfocus.com/ws/Pfinde...p?county=duval

Or through traditional methods:

Duval County, Florida - Supervisor of Elections

If you're ALREADY registered, you might want to check your voter status (just in case ). You can do that here, it takes 2 seconds:

Duval County, Florida - Supervisor of Elections

Early voting starts October 20th:

Duval County, Florida - Supervisor of Elections (http://www.duvalelections.com/CalendarEvent.aspx?ID=237 - broken link)

With Florida being a battleground state, and our region being an important part of the battleground, your vote really matters .

Tomorrow night (Thurs Oct 2nd @ 9pm) is the VP debate, hope everyone gets a chance to see it .

*feel free to add St. John's, Clay and Nassau county links .

*this is a non-partisan thread*

I was downtown last week and decided to drop into the Supervisors of Elections office just to ask if I could vote early and where. The helpful clerk handed me a ballot and I was able to vote right then and right there! I was back in my car in less than 10 minutes!

I have never cast an early ballot, but am going to this year. Is there a particular library I have to go to for my precinct? and how would I find out which one?

You can go to any of the locations, all you need to bring is your picture/signature ID (driver's lic). Here's an FAQ about early voting:

Duval County, Florida - Supervisor of Elections

And here's a link to the early voting locations (basically libraries):
