^^^ HAHAHA!!! Nothin like FL's heat, believe me man! Atlanta heat is nothing, I remember going in the summer a while back and the nights were nothing. Here in FL, your palms get sweaty from the humidity at 10pm in the summertime. Plus, you get cold weather, we get a few cold days. No comparison, imo.

I agree I lived in ATL for 8 yrs,, nothing compared to Florida's heat and humidity. I work 7p to 7am leave home about 630pm and have learned to let the ac run in the car before getting in otherwise would have to shower when I get to work.

Anyone heard of this complex? If were not able to visit Jax before moving there, which is very likely, we will most likely stay at a Extended Stay America or Suburban Extended Stay before getting an apartment. That is what we did when we moved to Colorado/Denver area and done the same thing when we moved here to NC. We were only at an Extended Stay here for a week before finding an apartment.

That is actually in Jax not Orange Park. About 8 miles down the road (Blanding Blvd that is) from the O.P limit. Also, not such a great area. There is an element of crime in that area.

Oh well! Everyone in the U.S. knows that Florida is humid. No matter where a person lives in the U.S. there will be some type of weather that people don't like......that is, EXCEPT for the most PERFECT weather in the U.S., San Diego, Calif (if a person can afford living there, which plenty of people do).
Actually, we would take the humidity over cold (35 and below) and snow anyday. Use to live near Denver, CO and "Old Man Winter" can really talk to you at times there!!

People in So Calif asked why we were moving to "cold/snow" of Denver metro area......we simply said, "because we want to and it's too expensive to live here (So Calif)".
People in CO asked why we were moving to the "hot/humid" North Carolina/Charlotte area......we simply said, "we are tired of driving, shoveling and trying to walk on snow/ice. We are tired of the body aches/pains from "Old Man Winter" at age 58."
People here (NC) really don't ask us much about moving to FL b/c a lot of folks here have a second home there. But, WHEN they do ask us, we say, "we need an even warmer climate during the winter than what is here and NO snow at all." We know about the heat/humidity of FL, but there is some kind of weather everywhere. At least our aches/pains won't be there due to too cold of weather!".
How are those for answers to people??!!
