Default Can anyone recommend someone to replace my front door?

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie here, but I've read a lot of topics here previously and found that you all give out great advice. So I'm hoping someone can help me out with my problem.

The front door to my house is pretty much screwed. The actual door itself is wood, and is in bad condition. And the wooden frame for the door is in bad condition also, to the point that the screws that hold the lock-bolt hole in place have broken the wood. So the metal plate moves all over, and makes it a hassle to lock the door. Instead of trying to salvage it, it really seems best for us to just get a whole new door installation.

I have a few questions about this. Does anyone know the price or details of this kind of job? I'm wondering if they will have to move the door frame out completely, or if they can fix the wooden part. Also, we're considering a fiberglass door instead of a wooden one. I've heard great things about them. And one final thing. Does anyone know of a good carpenter who can do this for a price that isn't too expensive? I have no idea about cost and labor, but I'm shooting to spend 2K or under. The lower amount, the better. We were going to check with Home Depot, but I wanted to know if you guys knew of any better options. Preferably someone who can complete the job sooner, rather than later.

Thank you in advance for all of your time.

From past experience, home depot subs out to lowest priced contractor....not always the best choice but you can argue w/ home depot if something goes wrong. They do have a good selection of fiberglass doors which look nice though.
