Yeah, that info would help sorry...
My husband will be working at NAS and our price range would be around $1,000 and we only have 3 day to find a house we are going to rent for a while!!!!. I would be working at a hospital or doctors office. We don't have any kids. Thanks again for the help!!!

You might want to look at Orange Park in Clay county, this would be a good commuting location to NAS.

If you like older traditional neighborhoods (older architecture, etc.), you can look towards Ortega/Avondale/Riverside to the north of NAS.

Another popular choice is to live across the river in Mandarin and commute over the Buckman Bridge/I295 to NAS each day (about 30+ minutes).

We have many past threads about all these areas. If you're interested in them, you can try doing a search using the neighborhood name as a keyword.

Thanks Riv

moving 2 Jax

riveree gave some great info
also if you think you might be working across the river on the souhside of town where there are lots of hospitals
you might want to consider living on this side so you won;t have to battle the traffic coming over the bridge in the mornings

We live in the 9A bay meadows area and I can be at NAS in 30 mins

You also may be able to rent a condo for a great price

if you check rentals and find some you like you can ask here about the areas

Thank you for all your help! It is so hard to find a place to live when you don't know anything about the place where you are moving to. Thank you again!
