Hi Everyone! My husband's dental plan has changed and his dentist is not on his plan, so we must find a new one. There are a few private practice dentists on the list, but most are from Smilecare or Coast Dental. Does anyone have a reccommendation about these dental groups and if there's a good one that you visit? I'm kinda lost here so any help would be appreciated.

It's been a while, but I had an absolutelyHORRIBLE experience with Smilecare in the 90's.

I don't recommend SmileCare either - they are overpriced & have strict appointment scheduling (x procedure can only be done at 10:15 am, y procedure is only done at 1:15pm, etc.) that makes me think they don't care one bit about the patients' schedules, only their own schedules!

Go to any dentist in your area and ask them if they will honor your plan, then call your plan administrator and ask them if they will pay for any work from that particular dentist. NEVER ASSUME! Remember how to spell "ASSUME."
