This morning I drove by a (seemingly) fatal accident on 9A and was really bothered by seeing it. I am now just wondering if anyone else has heard any details. It was not on the news and I just wondered if anyone knew how to find out about things like this.

Was that the one with the rolled dump truck? My boss got stuck in the traffic for over an hour.

the accident involved a lexus traveling about 140 mph, an 18 male (driver) and a 21 male (passenger). The passenger lived but the driver drowned in the lake that his car landed in. My friend who is in the fire academy was behind them and tried to get the driver out but could not find him. very unfortunate

This was a different accident.
It happened this past Saturday night.

There are quite a few folks that race down 9A both in cars and motorcycles.
We can hear the late night motorcycles racing.

Yes pretty common to see racers on that stretch of 9A, yet rarely see any FHP there, not even in hiding.

What highway was this on??? My ex-girlfriend's dad almost died in a car accient on the off ramp going from I-95 South to I-295 West where the curve is steepest. Someone sped aound him going 100mph and he lost contol and landed in a pond. Thankfully, an angel was following close behind in another car and pulled im out of the wreckage almost immediately...
