I delivered my son at St. Lukes about 14 months ago. We were pleased with their services overall, except for one abrupt nurse, but some were VERY helpful. The birth "suite" we stayed in for 2 nights (my son was 5 weeks premature) was nice, with a couch for my husband to crash on. I even was blessed to have a nurse that was familiar with Bradley while I was in labor (I wanted a natural birth and got my wish). No meds!!

As far as a doctor, I had two female MDs, Dr. Van Scriver and Dr. Slade. Dr. Slade was my doc for delivery...LOVED her! Their office is very close to St. Lukes. If your wife is considering a natural birth, my honest opinion is to go with Van Scriver's practice. The C-Section rate these days is 1 in 3, but I think their rate is lower than that and they will try to enable your wife to have a natural birth if there aren't complications, etc. Good luck and congrats on your baby!
