Moving there, need some helpful networking:)
Hi all. We have decided (after much deliberation) to move to Jacksonville! I have done nothing but research for weeks now and feel I am ready. We're coming from Fort Meade, MD, which is getting very crowded and BRAC will be bringing in thousands and thousands more jobs soon and we're already out of room, land, and housing!
Anyway, my husband is not much luck looking for a position online, maybe someone here can help. He is a Sr. Configuration Manager with expertise with Clearcase/Clearquest. Any leads would be appreciated more than you know.
Also, can anyone recomment a good, honest, realtor. We will be looking in Clay and St. Johns counties.
Thanks so much

Is that an IT field? I may have a connection to a recruiter. If you want it, DM me. No guarantees but at least it is something!
I can hook you up with a great Realtor, too.

Hi sum1else (like your name
Yes that is an IT field. The problem is that it is a very small field and doesn't really advertise, but on the other hand it is very hard for them to find experts in it. So when they do find my husband they snatch him up. With his resume posted everywhere online, we've gotten offers everywhere but the places we want to move.
Also, this is my first time on these boards, what does DM mean?

I belong to the Chamber of Commerce and a great networking group, I will look to see if I can find someone to help him. If you go to each persons profile, you can email us his resume too!

Hi Karla,
We have a realtor referral we're going to use now, but thanks for your thoughfulness.
My husband is in contact with the recruiter, she called him yesterday for more info, and said she would call back today. I'm crossing my fingers
