Corporate rentals near Mayo Clinic
Any referrals for a corporate rental near the Mayo Clinic? My father is being admitted for a month and I want to put my mother up somewhere so she doesn't have to drive a long distance, back and forth from home and the hospital.

Also, Mayo's new hospital has a couch in the room that is also a fold out bed if she needs to stay in his room sometimes. It's not too bad, and depending on what floor she's on, the nurses can give her coffee / juice in the morning. The only tough thing is that the cafe and the cafeteria don't stay open very late in the evening. If she's in a pinch, the nurses might let her bring food into the room (of course that depends on if he's in a restricted room or not...). I'll be thinking about her b/c that is a tough thing to go through, I went through it with a family member of mine.

He's getting admitted into the Oncology floor. He will be on precautions to prevent infection so no one can stay with him.
I will look into the Inn.
I saw this link and the price will be similar but they require a 30 day lease.

Mayo isn't exactly super-close to anything. So even if you found a house or condo in a "nearby" neighborhood, there still might be a several mile drive each way.
I agree with other suggestions. Strongly consider an extended stay hotel room on site.

Thanks, everyone. I think the best one is the Inn at Mayo so she can just walk to the Oncology suite - rather than having to drive from Point A to Point B. The price is about the same $2200+/month (Hotel v. condo v. townhouse).

With all being about the same I think the convenience of being just a walk away makes the Inn at Mayo a great choice.
I know having his wife so close will help to ease some of his stress and worry
You are a pretty special son !!!
