are you trying to track down this woman ?
I know a friend who got a bad check and pressed charges,
I think your bank can also report the bad check with believe it or not is like having a bad mark on your credit, if she tries to write a check and they use the check guarntee company she will be turned down


I would think that since the check was bad the puppies are still yours
I really dislike people that do bad checks

I plan to press charges.My fault for taking a check,I am sick over this.She will not return my calls.

in todays world of caller id she is probably avoiding you
I would try to "borrow" a phone so the number that comes across appears to be an important call

another thing you can try and do take the check right to her bank unless the account is closed she will have to deposit money in there , you can ask them to check if there are funds. a pain yeah but I have a feeling we are talking a good sum of money

Take the check to your local police dept. If it is over a certian amount it would be considered a felony and they will put a warrent out for her arrest!

I took bad check to my bank for the third time today.The money was there, so I drove to Jacksonville and cashed the check.Thank you Lord!!! Thanks to all who posted!
