Default Where to buy used CDs?

Does anyone know where there is a decent used CD store? There are a few specific CDs that I want, but don't particularly want to pay $20/disc. I checked FYE, and they did not have them (they're not exactly mainstream artists). CD Warehouse on San Jose closed, probably quite awhile ago, but I just noticed it. (Tijuana Flats in the same center closed also, oddly enough)

Try Amazon.com. Enter the CD you're looking for, then click on the link showing the number of new and used ones being sold by their affiliate e-tailers.

I don't believe there are any used CD stores around. I would love to be wrong.

CD Connection in Jax Beach sells new and used CDs. So does FYE.

If you love going to flea markets, you might want to check them out to see if any vendors are selling used CDs. I've bought some of my CDs from flea markets.

Thanks, Rock! I don't go out to the beaches much, so I was not sure they were still open. I will have to check them out. FYE, IMO, is over priced.

I download only the songs I want from Amazon or iTunes. Even if the album is old, it is still $7 to $10. If I only like 1 or two songs, it is better to get only what I need.

Value Pawn (cross section of Atlantic Blvd. and Mayport Rd) has a ton of used cds for like $1-2. Its hit or miss as to what they have available but its worth a check.

New & used CD stores are becoming a dying breed. There's just no value in the discs anymore since you can get music through a ton of different ways digitally (download, streaming, etc) & the market is reflecting this. Many have closed or are on the brink & the economy is helping move that along too.

Next up, video rental stores.

mp3search.ru

you can get most songs for 9cents and the newer stuff is 19cents. most albums cost from 81cents up to two dollars. plus, the sound quality is CD quality (192) or better in most cases.
