Exclamation Need help finding a ...... ASAP
A very good hotel at a very good price.

Well i am about 1 month from moving to Jax and we are headed down to look for sign on our house. I will be there from April 4-8th. Can anyone recommend a good hotel or suite? That is pretty good on price and a very nice area?

There are a number of hotels possible - recommendations can be made depending on where in Jacksonville you want to stay --- land-wise, Jax is big, and you certainly don't want to waste precious time in your car.

Anyone know how this area is?

I have no clue regarding the Mayport area. However, I highly recommend the Wyndham on Hodges (very close to JBP) and the Ramada-Mayo. The Ramada I believe is on San Pablo. We've paid anywhere from $89-$129 per night; depending on weekday vs weekend (weekdays were higher). I have stayed at both places while researching apartments for my son and can tell you that both places are clean and safe. Hope this helps.

Just used priceline today to get the Radisson for $50 a night for a weekend in late March.
