We are in the process of buying a cuddy cabin boat. Would like to meet some boaters that go on the St. John's River and/or Intracoastal or ocean. We live in the south end of Jax @ Baymeadows/Southside. We are in our early 60's and love just cruising around and fishing.
Either reply here or PM us.

What.....no one in CD here owns a boat? No Bowriders, no Cuddy Cabins, no Cabin Cruisers......hummmmmm, interesting(again)!!? And, here we thought that in the "land of waterways/ocean", most everyone owned a boat (only kidding of course).

Laughing!! Well, I could keep up if you tied me and my canoe to the back of your boat! (oooo maybe that would make great video for America's Funniest Home Videos :-)

Heck my boat's speedo doesn't even start until 30mph. Littteraly. It is a 20-100mph speedo. And it barely comes on plane at 30...
(sorry, but had to say that)

You ought to take me fishing on your boat and I'll teach you how to catch the big ones. Also I can bring beer and smoke.

From checking some other boating forums that have Jacksonville Threads in them, it looks like very few boaters here in the Jax area want to meet up with other boaters......wonder why A couple in another forum wanted to start up some kind of Jax boating club or just meet once a month for pizza/beer and talk "boating" but they only got one reply! Ok, what kind of boating am I talking about? Bowriders, Cuddy Cabin and Cabin Cruisers. We sure would like to meet some "boaters", but if no one is interested......then so be it!
But, thanks for reading my thread.
